INSTILL CLEANLINESS IN YOUR CHILDREN-MR BOATENG

The District Director of Education for Atwima Nwabiagya North Education Directorate (ANNED) of Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr Frank Duah Boateng has directed parents and guardians as well as teachers to instill sense of cleanliness among young students.

According to him, when students and youth in general are thought and trained on how to care for their homes and environment it forms part of their lives. As said, “train up the child the way it should go so when it grows up it won’t depart from it”

Mr Boateng was optimistic that the future lies upon the youth and they must be made to become part of the sanitation problem to address other challenged issues.

He made this on Friday, 22nd of March, 2024 during a clean-up exercise held as part of His Royal Majesty Otumfour’s Anniversary and a directive received from GES.

More importantly, historians reveal that Barekese formed part of the Asante history during the British War and the exercise was worthy.

Students who took part in the exercise were thankful to His Royal Majesty the Asantehene, Assembly, Directorate and affected organisers for a successful exercise and pleaded with government to work around the clock for teachers to be back in the classroom.
