The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly (ANNDA) has joined the Founder and General Overseer of the Moment of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA) to commission an ultra modern ICT laboratory, Library and mechanized borehole for Mfensi D/A JHS.

The ICT laboratory had 40 computers and a projector, a washroom, and an office. Whereas, the library had a library collections, an office, a storeroom and a washroom and a mechanized borehole with standpipes for users use.

In his absence, Pastor James Adusie Mensah said the facility would address information communication technology (ICT), library and other challenges faced by the school in the community as well as surfaced talents and skills of students in the community.

He added that globally computer and other technological gadgets have taken over and was about time stakeholders and philanthropists find solution for the young ones at such constructing and furnishing the center.

Pastor Adusie Mensah was very optimistic that the resource center when put to good use would mitigate the reading deficiency in students in the basic level as well as make them victorious over computer and other technologies.

The substantive pastor urged teachers, parents, assembly member, committee member, Nananom, and entire Mfensi community to make the project useable over periods of years.

Hon. Rebecca Yeboah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly (ANNDA) encouraged other churches, reverend ministers and philanthropists to follow the good steps of the MOGPA founder and support the government in making development a reality for various communities.

She stressed on government’s challenged towards development and by consensus such as MOGPA, millions of projects would be realized in the ensued years, especially in the area of education and others.

The DCE asked stakeholders and philanthropists to always make the Assembly a point of contact in all areas of development in her district. She said her door is always opened and it welcomes every hand that intends to make input.

Hon. Yeboah stressed on maintenance, as that would sustained projects for the future. Pleaded with educational stakeholders to prioritize the infrastructure to serve it’s purpose both for the community and the school. Urged Assembly member and his management team to maintain the structure towards the future.

The statements were made during the official opening of the resource center and mechanized borehole at Mfensi D/A JHS on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

In attendance were the District Chief Executive, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah, District Coordinating Director, Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman, District NADMO Director, Mr J.K Nketia, District Information Officer, Mr Augustine Agyei, District Director of Education, Mr Frank Duah Boateng, MOGPA representatives, Nananom, Assembly man for the electoral area, Hon. David Kwadwo Owusu-Ansah, Ghana Library Authority (GHLA), Teachers, SMCs, Committee members, parents, students and all inclusive.

Adding his voice to the keynote address, the District Director of Education, Mr Boateng, commended Rev. OB and MOGPARIANS for such an edifice well resourced and prayed others would follow.

Rev. Isaac Osei Bonus (Rev. OB) was rewarded with citations from the Assembly, Education, applause and other entities who appreciated his effort in the district and community at large.
