ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH STAFF WELFARE MEETING HELD

The Constitution of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Staff Association Section 13 clause 1 states that the “Executive Committee shall submit to the General meeting not more than three (3) months after the end of each fiscal year, an Annual report dealing with the activities and financial operations of the Association during the year.” pursuant to the section the committee has met with members of the Association to report on its financial standing as well as other issues of concerns to members.

Members engagement came about on the Thursday, of March 16, 2023 at the District Assembly’s Conference Hall.

   

Chairing the meeting was the Chairman of the Association, and District Physical Planning Officer – Mr Franz Ebo Yartel, assisted by the able committee members; Ms. Adwoa Konadu Yiadom – Financial Secretary and Head of the Central Administration, Mrs. Kasia Tabiri, Treasurer and Senior Human Resources Manager, Mrs. Francisca Akolgoma Abagna – Secretary and Assist. Director IIA, Mr Augustine Agyei – Organiser and District Information Officer with a special guest who is a member and the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman coordinating all event to its success.

The Chairman of the Association, Mr. Franz Ebo Yartel said dues payment and membership has become a challenged to the progress of the Association. He appealed to members to effect payments whilst staff who are not members be encouraged to join.

According to him, the financial standing of the Association was not one to write home about after the report and members should make input. He assured members of a better future and days ahead if members would be more committed than ever.

In his address the DCD, appealed to members to throw their maximum weight at the Association. He assured members of a collaborative work of the Assembly and the Association.

He prayed members let go of the bygone whilst siding with the Executives on current discussion for the betterment of the Association.

Feedback gathered revealed that some members nearly dropped out of the Association due to some persistent errors and importantly lope holes in its organisation of events but assured of bouncing back and ready to support if what were discussed would implemented.
