ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT COMMISSIONS 2-UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AT BAREKESE

A 2 unit classroom, an office, a storeroom and a washroom for pupils in the kindergarten has been commissioned this day, Tuesday, 22th of December, 2022 at Barekese.
The gesture was by a philanthropist based in the United States of America (USA), Dr and Mrs Kwame Adusie and other stakeholders of the teaching field.
At the commissioning was the Deputy Coordinating Director of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District, Ms. Adwoa Konadu Yiadom, representing the Hon. DCE, the Assembly member for Barekese/Asenie/Marban E/A, Hon. Ernest Adusie, District Director of Education, Mr Frank Duah Boateng, District Information Officer, Mr Augustine Agyei, Committee members, teachers, parents, students and all sundry were present.

 

ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT CELEBRATES WORLD AIDS DAY

Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly, Barekese in collaboration with the Ghana Health Service and Ghana AIDS Commission celebrated the 2022 World AIDS Day District version in a grand style on Tuesday, 20th December, 2022 at Asoufua market.
The event which was linked with a free health screening brought together; the Honourable Assembly Member for the electoral area, Osei Kwaku Michael and his committee members, staffs and lead officers of the programme, Asoufua Queen mother, Nana Baanie Ahenkan and other dignitaries.
Participants (i.e. persons in the electoral area and District) were present so, they could get screened over various health challenges. Topmost were BP, Diabetes, and HIV. Others ceased the opportunity to seek for various health advise from the Health Professionals at event.
