The Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly has held a maiden fee fixing resolution where stakeholders in various businesses have been engaged in other that questions, suggestions and concerns that would inform decisions in the 2023 budget preparation, revenue mobilisation, and development could be arrived at.
The mandatory stakeholders engagement was put in two phase, first phase happened on Thursday, the 6th of October, 2022 at Akropong Methodist Church and the other on Friday, the 7th of October, 2022 at the Assembly’s Conference Hall respectively.
Invited participants were presented with the ensuing year’s fees for any further analysis.
Involved stakeholders shared their sentiments over the fees and prayed further decisions be made over those proposed fees.
Participants said not much has been done to address the issues related to roads and urged the Assembly consider that. They added that, those proposed figures would be made visible if there are much developments executed and other concerns are addressed.
At the event were the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr. S.M Abdul-Rahman, District Budget Officer, Mr. Daniel Ntiri-Nyame, District Information Officer, Mr. Augustine Agyei, Assistant Coordinating Director, Mr. Daniel Nsafoah, team of the Budget Unit, and Other Administrative staff.
At close end the DCD thanked stakeholders, entities and everyone who contributed to the event and encouraged them to make revenue payment a necessity as that would see more development as well as raise the Assembly’s flag high.
